News:
December 11, 2009: Live album is being shelved for a bit. It's coming though. Next week we're doing a massive video shoot for up to 3 or 4 songs. Our Cd's and downloads have been selling much better since the video's have gone up on youtube so I want to keep the momentum going with some original vids. There are many new links and contests we are involved in as an independent band; that's the route we have to go sometimes. Also you'll notice on the front page there is a donation or "digital busking" button and if you donate $1 it would be appreciated. We finance everything ourselves and while we make a little pocket change selling CD's, if you like us and want to hear new music, well, any little bit helps.
Truly exited about the next phase of 'Scratch' and 'Bombasticide'. I'm going to be releasing some 'remixes' of songs like "Battle Flag", "Born Too Slow", "Fascination Street" and some undecided originals. Live shows next year will include back to back nights at Big Daddy's and Tony's where we play all originals one night and all covers the next, respectively. A show or two in Southern California next year wouldn't surprise me either. Stay tuned.
Sep. 4 2009: Spent the summer writing and producing a live album which will be released in the not too distant future. New video for "Born too Slow" available here, there and everywhere. Future videos will include, "Go Home", "Scratch", "Whatever" and "Meadow".
May 1, 2009: We have assumed control...of a show. On May 29 Bombasticide will play a headline gig at Redline Music and Sports in West Seattle. This show is very special as the first band playing, Divine Arson, are a group of youngsters recruited by John especially for this gig, and it is their fist show. The second band playing, I Deal Decay, is Bombasticide bassist Ian Miller's other band; hence Ian will be playing for about 2 hours and 45 minutes straight that evening. We are looking forward to finally playing a show with good friends on each bill...and there will be chaos!
July 28, 2008: Bombasticide signs first licensing deal for "Dynamo", "Go Home", and "Baby Girl" with Octobertunes, a Canadian company which distributes music to Film, Television, Video Games and other media.
May 18, 2008: Bombasticide made their FM radio debut with "Purgatory" on KISW Seattle's Loud N Local show.
That's a big get for us so email the station
and request they keep on playing it...along with other tracks like "Go Home" and "Under the Same Stars". Thanks.
